Meet Winsome A. Anderson, CPA

Winsome is the Principal Consultant & CEO of the firm. She founded W.A. Anderson CPA, leveraging more than two(2) decades of progressive experience as an accounting, finance and audit leader across multiple industries. She started her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Kingston, Jamaica providing audit, advisory and consulting services to clients. She subsequently transitioned into corporate accounting as a Financial Controller and Director of Accounting for companies in Kingston, Jamaica and the South Florida area and later as a SOX Consultant for publicly traded entities such as AutoNation and Sheridan Healthcare, Inc.

With business financial analysis being one of her core competencies, Winsome is able to readily assess companies financial performance and promptly advise management on any changes which may be necessary to correct negative trends which could prevent strategic goals from being achieved. Her strong background in compliance and risk management also help her clients proactively avert challenges, reduce costs and develop stronger systems of internal control.

Winsome attended the University of Technology, Jamaica where she graduated with a honors diploma in Business Administration, majoring in accounting.

Winsome is a Chartered Accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Certified Public Accountant(CPA) actively licensed in the state of Florida. She is a member in good standing with the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) and the American Institute of CPAs(AICPA)

She is a Christian, Mom to three beautiful children, an avid NBA Fan, loves listening to all genre of music, interior designing & decorating.
